Nationally Recognized Engineering Firm, PEC, Names New Leadership

Wichita, Kan. – In line with its 2032 Strategic Plan, Professional Engineering Consultants, PA (PEC) is pleased to announce several recent key leadership movements on Senior Vice President and Vice President levels. PEC is consistently striving to have the right people in place to continue its mission of impacting communities and being leaders in the industry.

Mike Kelsey, PE (Wichita) – SVP Government Markets (Municipal and State)

Kelsey’s more than 30 years of experience working with municipalities and state agencies will be instrumental in propelling PEC’s growth. This appointment is a testament to his exemplary leadership, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to PEC and its clients. In this role, he will oversee the Municipal and State Markets and shape our engagement with government sectors. We are confident that he will bring innovative solutions, foster collaboration, and drive success in this critical area of our business.

Matt Billingslea, PE (Wichita) – SVP Civil Engineering

BIllingslea has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, expertise, and dedication, making him an invaluable asset to our team. His duties in this role will include the oversight of Civil Engineering production staff as we continue to deliver PEC’s purpose to our clients. His experience and dedication to developing team members will serve him well in this new role and we look forward to witnessing his continued contributions to our company’s growth.

Brandon Claassen, PE, LEED AP (Wichita) – VP Mechanical Engineering & Commissioning

PEC conducted an internal search for a new VP of Mechanical Engineering and Commissioning. Claassen brings almost 22 years of PEC experience as an engineer, Team Lead, and Practice Lead. His passion for mechanical engineering and all PEC staff will aid him in continuing the success of our Mechanical and Commissioning Divisions.

Alex Darby, PE – (Topeka) VP Municipal

Darby has a passion for serving our clients. His experience with our municipal clients along with his ability to build relationships with them will be a tremendous asset to PEC.  His expertise will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and excellence of our Municipal Market.

Josh Golka, PE (Wichita) – VP Site Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, and Water Resources

Golka has consistently exhibited leadership, innovation, and dedication to our projects and clients. His experience and passion for client service. His expertise will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and excellence of his divisions.

Corey Rhodes, PE, LEED AP – (Fort Collins) Sustainability Services Leader

Rhodes has been appointed to the first-ever PEC role of Sustainability Services Leader. He will be focusing specifically on advancing sustainability initiatives.

Rhodes’ primary objective will be to explore and implement sustainable principles in PEC’s projects while aiding customers in embracing eco-friendly practices that benefit their businesses and communities. He will research emerging industry trends, government grants, subsidies, and tax credits to provide valuable insights for our customers – broaden our design services, and ultimately generate a new area of expertise within PEC.
