Materials Testing

Built To Last

Materials used to create your project can literally determine success or failure. Knowing what comprises those materials is vital when making decisions for design and construction. You need to be confident in the foundations, structures, and terrains with which you are working. Our expertise can bring peace of mind through every step of the project. Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) has provided quality construction materials testing and special inspections for over 40 years. Our team of engineers and technicians are highly trained to provide quality services to our clients, and we know what is important to assure quality control. Attention to detail, careful processes, and accurate reporting are all top priorities for our teams.

Our service offerings include onsite testing of soils, concrete, reinforcing steel, asphalt, masonry, structural steel elements, and connections. In addition to our field-related services, PEC also offers complete laboratory services for soil, concrete, mortar, grout, CMU block, and asphalt. Our laboratories take pride in going above and beyond to maintain the highest level of quality. Wichita Field Services is accredited by the AASHTO Accreditation Program and United States Corps of Engineers. That accreditation is limited only to the standards for which the laboratory is accredited. This means the tests we run and the results you get are accurate and complete with the highest level of quality within our industry.
