Envision offers employment and support to individuals with low vision and blindness. They manufacture various products, including those for the military, and operate a call center for multiple clients. In addition to this, Envision provides support services such as childcare and training on optimizing living with visual impairments.

Having outgrown their existing facility in Dallas, Envision purchased an old call center for remodeling. Since the building had been unoccupied and partially demolished, PEC began by assessing its condition. We consulted with Envision and the contractor to determine what could be reused and what needed to be replaced. As a non-profit, every dollar is carefully allocated at Envision. With this in mind, PEC helped ensure they were maximizing their resources while optimizing the project to serve the visually impaired community more effectively. New HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and power systems were designed to meet the organization’s needs.

With the new Dallas location being seven times larger than the previous building, Envision Dallas can now expand its reach even further. The new facility has increased capacity to meet the needs of and teach life skills to the visually impaired community in North Texas.
