PEC Names Fort Collins Community Engagement VP
Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) has named Travis Slisher as their new Vice President of Community Engagement in the Fort Collins, Colorado office. Slisher’s focus will be on building and fostering community connections with a strong vision for the future.
Slisher brings a proven track record of creating meaningful impact within communities to the firm. Slisher joins PEC from FCI Constructors, Inc., a premier contractor in the Rocky Mountain and Southwest regions of the country. At FCI, he served as the MEP pre-construction manager for FCI office locations in Colorado, Wyoming, and North Dakota. In this role, he has had the opportunity to be deeply involved in various pursuits and projects across the municipal, education (K-12), healthcare, industrial, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
Before joining FCI, Slisher spent over a decade at Neuworks Mechanical, Inc., a Fort Collins-based mechanical and plumbing contractor, where he rose to become Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Among his numerous responsibilities were business development, annual planning, leadership team management, and establishing the vision for the company.
Slisher is a certified Colorado Master Plumber and has served as the co-chair of the Northern Colorado Construction Sector Partnership. Beginning in 2022, he became a member of the Steering Community for NoCo Works, a coalition of Northern Colorado partners aligning to create a more efficient workforce in the region. With the addition of Slisher, PEC’s Community Engagement team adds a purpose-driven leader to the firm’s vision for the future.
