Wichita, Kan. – This week, Professional Engineering Consultants, P.A. (PEC) celebrates their 60^th anniversary. PEC was established in 1965 when three Wichita engineering firms merged to form one professional association. Since then, PEC has grown from a team of less than 30 into a nationally recognized, holistic solutions provider for communities across the nation. Still headquartered in Wichita, its workforce consists of certified professional engineers, technicians, and support staff at ten different locations in four states.

Over 60 years, their reach has expanded considerably. Their work now sees them applying their principles of engineering to meet community needs across the nation and around the world. PEC designs a vast array of projects that become part of the larger stories that are our communities. Every road, bridge, building, park, and more is a place where communities come together and memories are made. With offices spanning Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Missouri, they employ more than 400 team members who collectively hold engineering licenses in all 50 states. They pride themselves on energizing the communities around us, engineering lasting relationships, shaping the future, and guiding the way.
