PEC Names Kansas City Community Engagement VP
Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) has hired Caleb Flake, PE, LEED AP – a 20+ year veteran of the engineering industry – as VP of Community Engagement. With three VPs of Community Engagement already stationed in Oklahoma City, Fort Collins, and Tulsa, Flake rounds out this team and will focus on the Kansas City market. Backed by his deep background of engineering and project management experience, he will be able to directly engage with, relate, and bring value to our clients. Flake is driven by continuous progress and fostering relationships with clients.
“Caleb has worked as an engineer in both the public and private sector. This technical experience paired with his ability to cultivate relationships and network in Kansas City will be a great addition to our team,” Mike Lally, PEC SVP Community Engagement. “He’ll be able to identify opportunities, vet the situation, and bring it to a point where he taps in the right PEC colleagues.”
Over the last year, PEC’s Community Engagement team has made great strides in furthering our relationships with clients and the communities we serve. With a Kansas City regional reach expanding over the state line of Kansas and Missouri, there are vast opportunities for the Community Engagement team to get involved. However, they have specific focuses to attain the goals of their Strategic Plan.
“We are maintaining a high level of discipline to go after specific areas in Kansas City and its surrounding counties,” Lally added. “PEC’s broad expertise would be a great asset to several growing communities in the KC area. Right now, it’s about building those key relationships and seeing how PEC can contribute.”
