When conceptualizing Challenger Sports Park, the City of Broken Arrow wanted a sports complex that offered the best possible experience for players, coaches, and their fans. Now, from the moment the visitor enters the parking lot, the experience will begin, and they will create memories that last a lifetime.

Located on 40 acres within the larger Events Park in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, this sports complex includes six adult softball fields and one adaptive-use field. PEC had to look at wildlife impacts and environmental considerations during the planning phases. With PEC’s creative ideas, this park was designed to preserve multiple wetlands, ponds, and stream corridors located on the site. Designed with the visitors experience in mind, many features were included in this concept design: shade pavilions, interior conditioned concession space, food truck plazas, open lawns for movie nights, social areas, sun protection for fans, and more.

Because of this park’s unique design and top of the line guest experience, Broken Arrow now welcomes teams from all over the region. Tournaments return to this facility year after year creating traditions for players and their families.
