BG Products Veterans Sports Complex is a multi-partner project with the City of El Dorado, USD 490, and Butler Community College built at the former American Legion Golf Course creating a new gateway on the west edge of El Dorado.

The City of El Dorado, USD 490, Butler Community College and BG Products worked as a team to bring the BG Products Veterans Sports Complex to El Dorado players and sports fans. Built on 45 acres, the complex can host football, soccer and track events plus conventions, meetings, and concerts. Seating for 6,000 includes chair backs, luxury sky boxes, and covered seating in case of inclement weather. The ADA accessible facility also includes concession stands, ticket booths, restrooms, locker room, meeting rooms, and picnic tables. PEC provided mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering including on-site water, sewer, drainage, grading, and parking lot for this new community venue.

The project is part of a much larger economic development effort with a complex that will meet standards to host KSHSAA and NJCAA sporting events (football, track, and soccer), firework shows, concerts, antique car shows and more, as well as space for commercial development. The sports complex will serve as the home field for Butler Community College and El Dorado High School football games.
