Description of Project:
Construction of one public water supply well and wellhouse, a chlorine feed system, approximately 315 LF of waterline to tie the new well into the distribution system, approximately 318 LF of sanitary sewer piping for the chlorine analyzer waste stream, and a new access drive and fencing for the new wellhouse.

Bidding Documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related shipping charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier’s checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies.
Prospective Bidders are urged to register with Drexel Technologies as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than Drexel Technologies in either electronic or paper format. Drexel Technologies will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through Drexel Technologies. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than Drexel Technologies.
The City, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and 49 CFR Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.

Site visits shall be scheduled no later than 7 calendar days prior to the bid opening. Site visits shall be for reviewing site conditions only; any questions shall be sent to the Engineer in writing at least seven days prior to bid opening per Section 02 21 00.
