As healthcare needs grow, hospitals and clinics need spaces that help them care for more patients. The Hillcrest Hospital South renovation in Tulsa, Oklahoma transformed approximately 17,000 SF into a modern ambulatory surgery center, creating more space for outpatient care.

Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) partnered on the project, designing updates to the building’s power, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems to accommodate the new layout. It includes two new procedure rooms, four operating rooms, and 19 pre- and post-operative bays for patient prep and recovery.

One of the most important additions was a new wound care suite on the second floor. This dedicated space gives patients access to specialized treatment in a comfortable and convenient setting. The renovation also improved the facility’s layout, helping staff work more efficiently and creating a better experience for patients and visitors.

With the renovation now complete, Hillcrest South Hospital is better equipped to meet the healthcare needs of the community. The updated facility helps expand access to care, supports day-t0-day operations, and provides patients with important services closer to home.
