Project Description:

Reconstruction of the 19th and Harrison Intersection including; 909 S.Y. Concrete Pavement (9”) (Reinforced), 159 L.F. Storm Sewer Improvements, and 2,277 S.F. Concrete Sidewalk. Along with Mill and Overlay Improvements of Broadway Ave. from Polk St. to Morton St. including 23,318 S.Y. of Asphaltic Milling and Asphaltic Concrete Overlay.

This project is partially funded by a Community Development Block Grant provided through the Kansas Department of Commerce. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, including Section 3 of 1968 Housing & Urban Development Act, Davis-Bacon Act, Copeland Anti-Kickback and Contract Work Hours & Safety Standards Act. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with President’s Executive Order No. 11246 as amended; Title VI Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 109 Certifications, Section 504 certifications, Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988, Executive Order 11063 Certifications, KS Act Against Discrimination, Restriction on lobbying contracts over $100,000, Section 503 Rehabilitation Act, and Section 912 Cranston-Gonzales National Affordable Housing Act of 1990.
