PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS NAME FIVE NEW SENIOR ASSOCIATES

WICHITA, Kan. – Professional Engineering Consultants, P.A. (PEC) is pleased to announce the promotion of five employees. Chad Grisier, Becky Hesse, Greg McDowell, Nick Staib, and Darin Taylor have been named Senior Associates after demonstrating a strong commitment to the company and a desire to lead from within.

CHAD GRISIER PE received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University in 2004 and holds a PE in both Oklahoma and Kansas. Chad is the Team Lead for the Tulsa Municipal Services staff. His responsibilities include design, plan, and specification development for various site civil projects including grading, paving, drainage, utility layout, and geometric design. He specializes in waterlines, sanitary sewer lines, drainage systems, and stormwater projects. His other responsibilities include lift station and water tower design. Chad has 15 years of experience.

REBECCA “BECKY” HESSE PE, LEED AP BD+C received a Master’s and Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University. Becky holds a PE in the state of Kansas and is a LEED Accredited Professional Building Design and Construction. She is also a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers. Becky’s primary duties include the design of plumbing; medical gas; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems; energy analysis; and life cycle cost calculations. She is also responsible for the preparation of specifications for a variety of projects. Becky has experience with HVAC and plumbing design for both new and remodeling/renovation of medical facilities. She specializes in the use of Revit Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. Becky has more than 10 years of experience.

GREG MCDOWELL, PS, went to Pittsburg State University and obtained 90 hours of credit. Greg holds a PS in the state of Kansas and supervises the fieldwork of survey crews across the state. His responsibilities include cost estimation, project coordination, field and office procedures to support boundary surveys, design surveys, ALTA surveys, transportation surveys for state and local projects, energy route and corridor surveys for land acquisitions, and office calculations and drawings. Greg has 10 years of experience.

NICHOLAS “NICK” L. STAIB RLA, LEED GA received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Kansas State University. Nick is a Registered Landscape Architect in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin. Nick is Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Board (CLARB) Certified and a LEED Green Associate American Society of Landscape Architects. Nick is responsible for master planning parks, urban design, fountains, large-scale master planned communities, municipal streetscape plans, planned unit developments, golf course communities, as well as residential and commercial community unit plans. Nick’s background includes extensive work with park design, master planning, as well as zoo master planning, and exhibit design. Nick has 18 years of experience.

DARIN TAYLOR, PE received a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University. He holds a PE license in Kansas and is affiliated with the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers. Darin’s responsibilities include HVAC and plumbing design, construction administration, and project management. He also has experience with new construction, as well as renovating existing buildings. Darin designs spaces requiring tight humidity and temperature control with limited tolerance specifications. Darin has 10 years of experience.
