Wichita, Kan. – Professional Engineering Consultants, P.A. (PEC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc W. Jones, PE, CTS-D, as a new Principal for the company.

Jones has more than 16 years of electrical design experience and joined PEC in 2000 after graduating from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering. He holds a Professional Engineer license in Kansas, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

Jones is based at PEC’s Wichita office. He is the primary engineering contact for several local aircraft manufacturers and design-build contractors. For much of his career, his primary focus has been industrial and military projects. Marc also has a passion for audio-visual design and has been instrumental in developing AV design services at PEC.

As a Certified Technology Specialist Designer (CTS-D), Jones possesses a detailed knowledge and competence of the science and technology used in audio, video and display systems. He is also proficient in the use of Electro-Acoustic Simulation as a powerful modeling tool for designing sound reinforcement systems in new and existing facilities.
