WICHITA, KAN.— Professional Engineering Consultants, PA (PEC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Clay Cline, PE, SE, as Manager of their Structural Division. He replaces Wes Britson, who will be retiring in the coming year, after 21 years with PEC.

“I will be assisting Clay during the transition and focus my attention to the needs of PEC’s Energy Division,” Wes Britson, PEC Director and Energy Division Manager, said. “I’ve had a great career at PEC watching our firm double in size during my tenure and knowing that PEC will continue to grow.”

Prior to his promotion, Cline served as a principal and project manager in the Structural Division. He is an Architectural Engineering Graduate of Kansas State University, and has been at PEC for 11 years. Overall, Cline has 15 years of engineering and project management experience.

Cline will be utilizing his leadership skills to continue team growth of nearly 30 structural engineers throughout our seven regional locations. His new responsibilities include financial management, client management, business development, risk management, quality control, strategic planning and personnel management for multiple structural teams across the firm’s branch offices.
